I find these moments of perfection in things.

When life becomes amazingly awful (which it does so often I don’t know if I should use the adjective ‘amazingly’), I want to remember those nuggests of good-amazing that the chaos cedes to me. More importantly,  I want to remember how I find those moments—how I can shift just a little bit and discover something good. This blog will function as a log of these actions and moments for myself.

The title comes from Homer’s ekphrastic phrase “wine dark sea,” which is a personal nugget of pleasure.
